In just one week of implementing my nourishing morning routine, I went from merely surviving motherhood to truly thriving. That simple shift transformed my days, my mindset, and my energy—leading me to build a thriving blog and online business.
Now, I’m beyond grateful to make a living through Sweetly Nourished Life—blogging, creating content, and sharing the life-changing holistic practices that have helped me thrive in motherhood. My journey has transformed my mind, body, and soul and now I’m here to help you do the same.
Two years ago, I became a mom of three littles (two boys and one girl ages 3 and under) I had ALWAYS wanted to be a mom, but after completing our family, I found that there was something still lacking. Motherhood shook me to my core – it challenged me in more ways than ever expected and at times, left me feeling completely lost. No one prepares you for how you can feel after you have kids. As a stay at home mom, I got what I had always dreamed of, being at home with my babies and watching them grow. But I constantly found myself feeling unmotivated for things I once LOVED. I was constantly getting sick even though I thought I was doing all the right things and I would spend afternoons crying each moment I had alone during nap times. I felt empty even though I had the family I always hoped for. Before kids, I put my life into my fitness career but now I put my heart and soul strictly into my kids and was feeling as though my bucket was empty. I knew there was more to me than being just a mom (not that there is anything wrong with that , trust me, I truly feel blessed.) I just knew I had more purpose and truly wanted to contribute more to my family. I knew deep down that filling up my own cup would make me be a better mom to my littles since I know how important it is for you to take care of your own self first and foremost during motherhood. So through all the chaos, I made a vow to myself to start doing more of what fed my soul. I started to find my way back to myself by leaning into nourishment in all its forms: food, movement, spirituality, and daily rituals that ground and restore me. And boy, has that changed me for the better— As a mom, wife and person all around.
At Sweetly Nourished Life, I share my personal experiences, tried-and-true holistic practices, and simple tools and techniques that have helped me not just survive but truly thrive in motherhood. From healing foods and mindful movement to spiritual connection and everyday wellness rituals, I believe that nourishing yourself first is the key to showing up fully for your little ones and for life itself.
This space isn’t about perfection or unrealistic expectations. It’s about embracing the beauty of simplicity, tuning into what truly fuels you, and finding joy in the small, nourishing moments of motherhood.
